From it's inception in 1996 Woolworths Petrol has grown to operate over 430 Sites nationally.  Our journey began in Dubbo NSW where the first petrol site was opened in the car park of the local supermarket - we call this a Pay Point site. From 1996 to 2000, we continued to build and open Pay Point sites across the country.  In 2000, Woolworths identified the opportunity to expand in the retail petroleum business and we began to build larger petrol sites known as convenience sites.  Although convenience sites are not located in supermarkets car parks they are generally close to a Woolworths supermarket.

We have consistently opened at least 20 new petrol sites each year for the last 5 years and we plan to continue this level of growth for the foreseeable future. This means that career opportunities are always opening up for our employees.

Because we are part of the Woolworths retailing group, there is a diverse and limitless range of challenging and rewarding career options available to enthusiastic and motivated candidates looking to succeed in a career with Australia's leading retailer.  Woolworths Petrol offers flexibility with our rosters with many sites operating 24hrs a day 7 days a week.
